THE “WE” CHALLENGE.
We have a standing think-tank team. This was based on the need to stimulate the development of skilled artisans in various trades that are seriously now in short supply. Not minding that they are lucrative, offer stable employment, income and export benefits. Most of the skilled artisans are either non-Nigerians and particulary, non-Edos. This is indeed very disturbing development.
We intend to grow these skills from among Edo Youths in order to ameliorate the effects of the highlighted challenges.
We seek to engage the Rector of Edo State Polytechnic Usen and similar institutions worldwide, the Nigerian Directorate of Employment (NDE), Edo State Incubation Hub and the informal Sectors across the Nation.
Our task will be to reduce unemployment, increase literacy level and diffuse the usage of Edo Language as speech both at home and in the Diaspora.
- Unemployment: According to the Nigerian Bureau of Statistics, Edo State has high unemployment rate with over 46% of the population unemployed as of 2022.
- Education: A report by UNESCO found that Edo State has low literacy rates with 62% of the population able to read and write.
- Poverty: According to the National Bureau of Statistics, over 50% of the population of Edo State live below the poverty line.
- Violence: Youth related violence aggravated by unemployment, lack of appropriate education in Edo State is high, including being used as political thugs.
- The present conditions appear to encourage laziness.
- There is no apprenticeship culture as Ndigbo,
- The Jakpa ambition.
- Humble small beginnings appear to be trivialised & undesirable as well as the incubation periods.
- Low level youth employment 46%.
- Low literacy level 62%.
- High percentage youthful age.
- High violence perpetrated.
- Artisan/apprenticeship training
- Education/literacy abilitation certificated that give value & is exportable

- Insurance
- Start-up tools/equipment
The organization shall seek to fulfill its mandate and carry out these social re-engineering tasks by way of solicitations for:
- Appeals for Materials and Financial Support, Grants from individuals, public and private establishments/organizations
- Sponsorship
- Service delivery charges
- Ancillaries
- Advertisements
- Talk shops, seminar & sharing of the talkshops videos
